ITALIAN OCR CHAMPIONSHIP STANDARD RACE

For the first time, on October 5th, the Miners Obstacle Race will be the stage of the Italian OCR Standard Championship 2025.

  • Thanks to the patronage of FIPM, the Italian OCR Standard Championship – Miners Obstacle Race 2025 marks a concrete step in the Federation’s desire to promote and develop the world of Obstacle Sports. An important opportunity to create, accelerate, enrich and consolidate the skills needed to manage a rapidly evolving discipline, with an eye on an ambitious goal: the Olympic debut in Los Angeles 2028

October 4th is the stage of the COPPA ITALIA SHORT circuit, GOLD category.

  • New scoring system for athletes: for 2025, each race will assign a base score of 1000 points regardless of the gold, silver or bronze category;
  • A new algorithm developed by the Rankings Commission will assign a bonus based on the number of registered participants and the competitive level of the participants;
  • The slots available for qualification for the Italian and European Championships remain assigned based on the gold, silver or bronze category of your event;
  • From 2025, FIOCR events qualify for the World Championships following the same rules as the European Championships, i.e. directly, so qualification via ranking is cancelled.
