ASD IS CRESIAS, created in 2016 by the will of Daniela and Andrea, their secret dream was to organize an OCR (Obstacle Course Race) competition, in their land: Iglesias, which lies at the foot of Mount Marganai and is known for its mining activity (Porto Flavia – Masua, Grotta Santa Barbara – San Giovanni Miniera, Galleria Villamarina – Monteponi) which has distinguished it during the previous centuries. The area is plenty of archaeological sites which testify the continuity of settlements since prehistoric ages.
Today, the association counts hundreds of members and collaborators, employed to promote and organize OCR competitions.
ASD IS CRESIAS has always been dedicated to the promotion of the OCR (Obstacle Course Race) and organizes competitions and races on dirt, sand, rock lands and crossings of ditches with or without water with different types of difficulty. It also realizes race tracks with natural and artificial obstacles.
Our mission is the popularization of OCR discipline among adults and children also by organizing promotional events, participation in regional, national, international events.
